I Still Know What You Did Last Summer - John Frizzell

With the success of I Know What You Did Last Summer, it did not take a rocket scientist to figure out there would be a sequel to the hit film. Kevin Williamson, of the Scream franhise, wrote the screenplay for the film and the score was written by John Debney whos only other horror score prior to I Know was called The Relic.

John wrote a great moody score which set the tone of the film, scary and mysterious. But when it was time for the sequel, the original film makers did not come back. And so Sony, for god knows why, hired the film makers of the dreaded movie, Judge Dreadd (pun intended). While not the worst sequel ever made, this was a very terrible sequel for an originally good film. The story is all over the place. They tried to save the film by always showing us close ups of Jennifer Love Hewitt's lovely breasts. But even those couldn't help the movie.

The only thing worth while that came out of the movie was the score, this time by composer John Frizzell. John wrote a very action and frantic horror score. Very gothic sounding in some parts. While I Know What You Did Last Summer did get a limited score cd release a few years back, I STILL Know did not. Before all you could get was Julie's Theme on the original soundtrack.
